For the past few years, Reeves Rangers has established and developed close mutual links with The Wokingham Lions – a charity based organisation dedicated to organising activities to raise funds that benefit needy individuals and /or groups in the Wokingham area.
In particular, the club helps to run football activity for The Lions at their main annual fund raising event – The May Fayre. Through this support, Reeves Rangers has helped the charity to raise a significant sum of money which has gone towards assisting many local worthy causes.
Through the alliance, the football club has benefited by being entered into a national competition organised by the National Lions organisation which sees clubs from all over the country playing against one another.
In the 2008/09 season, Reeves Rangers under 14’s squad played against teams from as far afield as Dorset and Leicestershire, which was a great experience for all of the players that were involved.
